Snobby Walrus June Challenge #1 and a couple for Scrapbook Challenges

The Beautiful Girls Layout is of my daughter Michelle and niece Destini making mothers day cards and I did it for challenge #1 at Snobby Walrus and the sketch is based on the POTW for week 1 at Scrapbook Challenges .


The top layout was inspired by sketch 202 at scrapbook challenges and it's of my daughter and parents a few years back on a trip to Morro Bay.


Well, thanks for taking a look at my last few posts, I'm doing well recovering after surgery and am happy to say I was able to get a lot of scrapbooking done while I've been home, I also made a mini album for my step dad and a fathers day card for my hubby but I didn't take pics of either. So, I've been a busy little bee but it's back to work for me tomorrow. Thanks again for looking.

Sketchy Thursdays 6.17 "shy's 1st swim"

We had a great time Memorial Weekend, Amber and Shyanna came and stayed with us and even though it was still a little cold to swim outside we enjoyed the indoor heated pool and hot tub. This was Shy's 1st swim and she was too cute in her little tutu bathing suit. Here's my take on this weeks Sketchy Thursdays Sketch 6.17

Ingeborg's June 2010 "What's Cooking"? Competition

This is a layout of my DH in my apron when he made fried pork chops for the first time. I did this layout for Ingeborg's What's Cooking Competition and also for the June by the numbers challenge at Scrapbook Challenges.

Little Fisher

This is my take on sketch 128 over at Sketch Inspirations, these are pics of when we brought the fishing boat over to our house from grandpas, it was quite the experience. Can't wait to take the boat out on the lake. I'm going to need an umbrella to shade me from the sun.

Trip to Yosemite followed by surgery

Well just thought I'd update, I'm going to try and get some layouts done while I'm off but until then here are some pics of our recent trip to Yosemite. The top one is my DH by the lower falls,
then the 2nd is my dd and the other two are just a couple random shots. We really had a good time and it took my mind off my surgery that I had today, it went well, I'm feeling pretty good and will now wait for the biopsies. Thanks for stopping by.
