Sketchy Thursdays 7.22

This is my take on sketch 7.22 from Sketchy Thursdays it's of a recent trip we took to San Francisco and it was my daughters first trip, she kept saying she really wanted to see the red bridge, I hope it was all she expected, she really couldn't enjoy it because she was so so cold. Inspired by Scrapbook Heaven

These are the first few sketches that I completed during the sizzling summer sketch crop over at scrapbook heaven they have some awesome inspiration, I have been having so much fun with it. With Michelle being out of town for the summer I have had a lot of uninterrupted scrap time and even though I love that, I'm really starting to miss her. Trooper a local Lab

Ok, I do have some layouts that I need to post, but I will do that later, right now I'm on a mission to tell Everyone I can about Trooper!! Trooper is a local lab who was drug behind his owners car for some distance and survived. He is in a lot of pain but he is taking well to his treatments. Please please take a minute to go read his story. I know times are tight right now but even if you can donate 5 dollars it's a help. I'm hoping to get a couple layouts done this weekend before our trip to San Francisco. I'm super excited to introduce my daughter to one of my favorite little cities in the US even though I'm a bit nervous because after spending a day having fun she will be flying out all by herself to Arkansas to visit friends and family for a month. What am I going to do without her for that long? :( I'm hoping to visit a couple LSS during my journey, but I still need to search and see where they're at and if I can map them in. Yay. 6th Grade...

I think sketch #131 over at Sketch Inspiration was perfect to jot down all the things my husband and I could come up with when we think of Michelle and 6th grade and they fit nicely next to her 6th grade pic. Journal reads: skinny jeans, DC shoes, hair bows, flat iron, black & gray, jerking, myspace, facebook, texting, music, B95, Q97, lots of friends, lots of drama, full of attitude, always doing her hair, Twilight, good grades, more mature, helpful, stubborn, independent, strong, & BEAUTIFUL.
